Charity Partnership with Teenage Cancer Trust and Exclusive Auction Announced!

Set to take place at London’s historic Alexandra Palace on 18 October, Vans Warped Tour UK – headlined by BLACK VEIL BRIDES and ASKING ALEXANDRIA – continues its return to form as it announces its lead charity partnership for 2015.

After a hugely successful year at the 2013 festival, it made perfect sense for Vans Warped Tour UK to once again team up with a charity that does so much work with young people but also has its roots firmly embedded in music. TEENAGE CANCER TRUST is the only UK charity dedicated to improving the quality of life and chances of survival for the seven young people aged between 13 and 24 diagnosed with cancer every day. The charity funds and builds specialist units in NHS hospitals, and funds dedicated staff such as Teenage Cancer Trust Nurses, Youth Support Coordinators and education specialists, bringing young people together so they can treated by teenage cancer experts in the best place for them.

At this year’s Van’s Warped Tour UK, Teenage Cancer Trust will again have a stall in the Merch Village where festival-goers will be able to take part in a unique T-shirt Amnesty where unwanted T-shirts can be donated and punk, rock, pop and metal T-shirts can be bought in exchange for a donation. Raffle tickets will also be on sale to win a Warped Tour UK goodie bag, while TIGRESS and ROB LYNCH will be holding signings at the charity’s stall in exchange for a donation.

On Sunday 27 September at 8pm, Teenage Cancer Trust will launch an exclusive Warped Tour UK eBay auction where the successful bidder could get their hands on a pair of VIP tickets to the festival, goodies from festival performers past and present and skate deck signed by 2013 headliners Enter Shikari and Parkway Drive, as well as Neck Deep, Crossfaith, While She Sleeps and Chiodos amongst others. 100% of the money raised from this auction will go towards helping teenagers and young adults with cancer.
